So now I am experimenting with AHK, but cannot get it to create F keys.įor example, after reading the instructions, the script for Control+2 to become the F2 key should be ^2::F2.

I was able to re-assign one key, but the others I wanted, such as an F2 key, or an Alt key, I could not do because SharpKeys said that it did not recognise the buttons on the Wireless Keyboard. So after a Google search, I tried to use a free program called SharpKeys to re-assign some of the keys, I think the software works by altering the Windows 7 Registry. There is also no forward delete button, or an Alt button (but there is a Alt Gr button). There is no software for the keyboard that I could use to change the assignment of the keys. There are several keys on this keyboard that do not work, and a couple that are missing entirely. I have connected the keyboard to my laptop using the bluetooth connection and it works.

I recently bought a new HP TouchPad Wireless Keyboard from Amazon (see link below) for my Windows 7 laptop, although I appreciate that this keyboard was designed for tablets.
